Everything was just perfect… the rooms are beautiful designed… and a well balanced combination of luxury and tradition. Food & Service was outstanding. Although this is a 5 Star hotel the staff was pretty young but well educated, never stiff always supportive and very friendly in a down to earth manner… just perfect. And not to forget the place, which is in a walking distance to old town, castle and tivoli park. Hand over your car over to the valet parking service and take it back when you leave… for the meantime you would not need it. As I travel a lot and saw some very remarkable places in the world… this one has to be added to the extraordinary hotel list for sure…

Thrilled with Our Stay!!! We had high expectations for this hotel based on reviews, but our stay even exceeded those expectations which we didn’t think was possible! Our two rooms were unique and beautiful with the most comfortable beds. LOVED the Italian coffee machine with fresh ground coffee beans, too. One of our rooms had a balcony overlooking the river and castle and even though it was also above a small square, the room was quiet. Breakfasts were delicious with many traditional options and a fun learning experience with Nate! Every staff member was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and had a great sense of humor! This was our first trip to Ljubljana and we can’t wait to visit again and stay at Zlata Ladjica Hotel!! This hotel is incredible. The service is second to none. As it is in the pedestrian area someone met us at an allotted spot and took our car for us – worked like clockwork. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Room was sumptuous with everything carefully thought out. Nice welcome drinks outside in the lovely bar area where you can watch the world go by.
Breakfast was incredible – didn’t have to eat again until supper! Just fabulous, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and really hope to go back.
