»What an amazing experience from start to finish! We were picked up at the airport in a plush mercedes van and driven to the edge of the pedestrian area where two staff in smart uniform met us and carried out bags to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like royalty for the whole stay. Our room was spacious with a deep bath, electric black out blinds and a huge shower and fresh tea and a coffeemaker with coffee beans. The breakfasts were huge – fruit, cheese, cold meats, smoothie, omelets, eggs, desserts. We had the tasting menu private dining one night – it was out of this world – all local fresh food – the chef is talented and Viktor our waiter knew everything
about the menu. Everything in the hotel is sustainable. The quality is extremely high and each room is different – we were lucky enough to be shown some other rooms. What comes across is that the staff absolutely love the place and are so enthusiastic and passionate – Marko about the wine and food, Gregor about the hotel and all those whose names we didn’t get. »The hotel meets all requirements of a 5 star hotel. I would like to highlight the extremely helpful and always friendly staff both from the concierge and the attached restaurant, which was always available to me during my 4-day stay sets. Especially Robert, who has a great know-how about the whole region and clearly loves his job. Small wishes and concerns are dealt with or fixed immediately, so that the whole experience has a completely different meaning. Each room of the hotel is individually decorated and has its own little history. The breakfast was immense for me as an individual with regional products and I was always sat. The hotel view has a great location in the pedestrian area. There are many restaurants along the riverCafes with catering options within 1-8 minutes walking distance, you can gladly ask the concierge service for tips. Special trips to Predjama Castle, the cave or the sea to Piran can also be requested at the concierge and are definitely worth every minute. Many thanks to the team, I will gladly come back again!«
