About Us

Our aim is to leave a minimal environmental footprint, so we are committed to providing local, in-season food and drinks, and encourage our guests to make good use of the excellent water that Ljubljana supplies through the many taps and water fountains around the city. We have minimised the use of plastics throughout the hotel and use environmentally-friendly cleaning products. Our soaps, shampoos, and conditioners are sourced from a local producer of organic cosmetics. They also actively participate in a circular economy by taking back used facial soap bars from our guests and repurposing them into eco-friendly floor detergent. Our room furnishings feature restored old Persian rugs, chairs fashioned from recycled fishing nets, and restored antique furniture. We take pride in using Supima cotton for our bedsheets. Supima cotton producers are dedicated to employing non-toxic, sustainable, and organic farming practices. As a hotel located in a pedestrian zone, we offer complimentary bikes to our guests. We’re proud to have acquired the Green Key certificate in 2023, recognizing our commitment to sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices.
